Capral Aluminum today announced the acquisition of Apple Aluminum in Brisbane as part of a strategic move to expand its market reach and increase operational capabilities.

Capral plans to leverage Apple Aluminium’s established market position, skilled workforce and strong customer relationships to enhance its service offering in Brisbane.

Apple Aluminum was founded in 1983 and has expanded into numerous industries over its 40-year history, offering advanced services such as light industrial manufacturing and CNC machinery.

Capral said the acquisition, while relatively small with annual sales of approximately $12 million, is consistent with the company’s strategy to strengthen its market presence through targeted acquisitions and strategic investments.

The agreement is also expected to create synergies, enabling Capral to deliver greater value through improved logistics, prefabrication services and improved customer support for local manufacturers.

Capral Aluminum CEO and Managing Director Tony Dragicevich said the transaction with Apple Aluminum is consistent with Capral’s long-term growth strategy through strategic acquisitions and continuous improvement.

“This acquisition represents a strategic move to expand our market presence and strengthen our operational capabilities in Brisbane,” he said.

“Apple Aluminum has built a strong reputation for quality and service, values comparable to those of Capral.

“We look forward to working with the experienced Apple Aluminum team as we transition the company into our distribution network.”

Earlier this year, Capral also announced the acquisition of Victoria-based aluminum sales and distribution company Aluminum Trade Centre.

On the other hand, registrations for the 2024 North Coast Petroleum Casino Truck Show will open on July 1.
