Exterran reports a loss in the second quarter

HOUSTON (AP) _ Exterran Corp. (EXTN) on Wednesday reported a loss of $95.5 million in its second quarter.

The Houston-based company said it had a loss of $2.76 per share. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and expenses, were 21 cents per share.

The oil and gas industry services provider posted revenue of $262.1 million in the period.

Exterran shares are up 9.5 percent year to date. In the final minutes of Wednesday trading, shares hit $26.18, up 60 percent in the past 12 months.
