Logitech MX ink is available, and the stylus works with Meta Quest headsets with tracking support

Logitech’s latest device is MX Ink and it is not an ordinary stylus. It offers huge features including Meta support for VR experiences in Quest headsets. It provides 2D and 3D drawings for a variety of devices, and Meta’s Quest devices add an accessory to deliver 3D tracked objects drawn in the air.

It is also considered the first accessory offered by Meta in the Quest lineup. The device was originally leaked by accident before its alleged reveal.

Logitech MX Ink is now available to everyone

Logitech has unveiled its new MX Ink stylus, and it’s more than it seems. The company markets it as a “mixed reality stylus” made for Meta Quest.

Logitech MX Ink is designed for both 2D and 3D drawing. Suitable for drawing on tangible surfaces thanks to the pressure-sensitive tip and 3D thanks to full 6DoF position tracking via headsets.

It also offers haptic feedback and multiple buttons for custom experiences.

It is known that there was an initial leak on the VentureBeat website regarding the new Logitech stylus, which was presented before the company’s presentation scheduled earlier today. The news site’s post was deleted even after Logitech was exposed.

Meta Quest – supported with tracking

The new Logitech MX Ink is the first Meta-supported accessory on Quest headsets, compatible with Quest 2 VR and Quest 3 mixed reality wearables.

It can be paired with the headset and Touch controllers, allowing users to use both peripherals simultaneously.

Logitech accessories for technology

Logitech is known for many third-party accessories and devices that help unlock enhanced device features. These devices are compatible with many brands and operating systems around the world. Logitech has previously offered a cheaper alternative to the Apple Magic Keyboard and Keyboard Folio, focusing on an iPad accessory that offers both a keyboard and case in one.

The company is also known for its commercially available gaming devices for PCs and consoles, including peripherals such as gaming mice, keyboards, headsets, and more. However, it is also popular thanks to the riding kit that you can buy. It is also known as the Logitech G Pro Direct Drive racing wheel, which offers compatibility with various games, platforms, and more.

Another third-party accessory comes from Logitech, but now it offers more than a stylus, focusing on drawing features on physical devices in 2D and 3D for VR. Meta Quest offers tracked support for Logitech’s new MX Ink, giving you the chance to bring your experience to Quest 2 and 3, expanding more of their capabilities with the new device.
