Atlas Copco takes over the British company AE Industrial

AE Industrial became part of the Atlas Copco Group.

AE Industrial, based in Great Britain, specializes in the sale, installation and service of compressed air systems. The company will strengthen Atlas Copco’s presence in the UK market.

Philippe Ernens, president of Atlas Copco’s Compressor Technique business area, notes AE Industrial’s long history and strong presence in the UK market.

He continued: “This acquisition will strengthen our customer service in the region and enable us to further expand the product reach of our ALIP Kompressoren brand.”

AE Industrial was founded in 1970 and employs 40 employees. The company serves a wide range of industrial businesses in Leeds, Stoke, Birmingham and Blidworth in the UK.

After the takeover, the company will become part of the Service Division in the area of Compressor Technology.

The purchase price was not disclosed.
