Cainiao Consolidation Enables “5-Day Delivery” on US Financial News

Cainiao Consolidation, a logistics company under BABA-SW (09988.HK), has launched its “5-Day Delivery” service in the US market, a Chinese news report said.

If the package cannot be delivered to the consumer within the guaranteed five business days, Cainiao may compensate the consumer’s account with a maximum of RMB 50 in red parcels for transportation fee, according to the report.

Additionally, Cainiao Consolidation can now accept parcels from various e-commerce platforms and support the transfer of orders to overseas destinations with one click.

Citing Cainiao data, the report indicates that in May 2024, the volume of parcels sent by the company to the United States increased by over 70% compared to the same period last year.
