Sharone Franco, Yubo’s director of legal and public policy, joins the Technology Coalition’s board of directors

As part of this prestigious appointment, Franco is working with industry partners from TikTok, Meta and Google to combat the most pressing online safety threats facing minors today

PARIS, June 17, 2024 /PRNewswire/ — Yubo, the leading social discovery platform for Gen Z, is proud to announce this SharonFranco, director of legal and public policy, has joined the board of the Tech Coalition, an alliance of leading technology companies focused on ending child exploitation online and providing a safer digital environment for children and teenagers. A former practicing lawyer specializing in data protection, cybersecurity and intellectual property litigation, Franco brings extensive expertise in legal frameworks, policy development and online security strategies. In 2023, she was responsible for the development of the award-winning AFNOR SPEC reference document, a groundbreaking public policy initiative to ensure uniform standards for children’s online safety protocols across digital platforms, implemented in partnership with: Parisbased on the standardization organization Association Française de Normalization (AFNOR).
