Rithum launches AI Magic Mapper to enhance market expansion

Rithum announced the release of a new AI Magic Mapper tool, which is intended to improve the market expansion of brands. Rithum, formerly known as ChannelAdvisor and CommerceHub, works with over 40,000 global brands and manages over $50 billion in commerce each year.

Founded to meet the growing needs of brands in the dynamic online marketplace, Rithum continually evolves, integrating advanced tools and technologies to support its clients’ growth. The company offers a suite of services including inventory management, product listings, order fulfillment and performance analysis designed to optimize e-commerce operations and increase revenue.

The AI Magic Mapper tool aims to automate the time-consuming task of uploading product catalogs to new sales channels. By reducing the time it takes to complete this process to just minutes, the tool promises to increase the speed at which brands reach your site and increase revenue. Rithum said that in early testing, the tool achieved 99% accuracy in category recommendations for a clothing company with about 14,000 products.

Aarthi Ramamurthy, chief technology and product officer at Rithum, explained the importance of the new tool. “For many brands, market expansion is key to growth, especially as third-party trading becomes a standard business model. However, tasks like product uploads prevent brands from unlocking potential channels. The use of technology – and especially artificial intelligence – is a real game changer for brands that want to increase their market expansion and reach customers,” she said.

AI Magic Mapper uses an AI engine to perform automatic categorization. To tune the AI engine, brands must complete a short point-and-click calibration process. The tool then automatically generates subsequent products. Once generated, recommended categories, including product titles, descriptions and extensive datasets, can be reviewed and confirmed by the brand.

Ramamurthy also outlined future improvements planned for the tool. “Our vision for Magic Mapper goes beyond category mapping to include a more intuitive product field mapping process. We will soon introduce an improved attribute mapping process, guiding users through the selection of mandatory and optional attributes to further improve product listings. Thanks to this, your brand’s products will be effectively positioned on the market and will increase sales,” she added.

Rithum hailed this new tool as an important tool for brands looking to expand their online presence quickly and effectively. Using artificial intelligence, the company aims to simplify and accelerate the process of listing products across multiple channels, potentially giving brands a competitive advantage in the e-commerce environment.
