Grouse Lettings grows through acquisitions – Daily Business

Grouse Lettings, a residential property management and leasing company, has expanded its operations
a three-fold increase in the real estate portfolio as a result of the acquisition of one company and the partial acquisition of another.

The Aberdeen-based company has acquired Babs Buglass Leasing and long-term rentals
PMC Property’s business website. The total value of the transaction is six figures.

Babs Buglass, founder and director of her leasing company, will join the Grouse Lettings team.
Following the sale of the apartment rental portion of the business, Neale Bisset, co-president of i
Simon Hudson, managing director, has left the long-term rental sector to focus on
PMC Property factoring and short-term rental department.

Thanks to these agreements, Grouse Lettings’ portfolio of managed properties will increase from 281 to 281
71 – an increase of 295%. Grouse Lettings will now process annual rents of £2.4 million.

Mr Watt, who has almost 20 years of senior level experience in property management and
leasing industry, founded Grouse Lettings in 2020 as a part-time venture. Earlier this year
he ended his career as a shareholder and commercial director at Newton Property Management
focus on Grouse Lettings.

Grouse Lettings has an office on Queen’s Terrace and runs a PMC lettings business
Property, based in Oldmeldrum, and Babs Buglass Leasing in Westhill will now be available
managed from a West End location. Grouse Lettings manages residential properties for
rentals in Aberdeen, Aberdeenshire and Angus.
