Sameday asks the Bulgarian antitrust authority for permission to purchase Furgefutar.hu

June 18 (SeeNews) – Romanian parcel delivery group Sameday, which also operates in Hungary and Bulgaria, has applied to the Bulgarian competition authority for approval for its planned takeover of Hungarian logistics company Furgefutar.hu, the regulator said on Tuesday.

Interested third parties can submit comments on the deal within the next seven days, the Competition Protection Commission (CPC) said in a statement, without disclosing further details of the deal.

Bucharest-based Delivery Solutions, operating under the Sameday brand, specializes in non-food, fashion and second-hand retail, as well as food delivery, marketing intermediation and parcel delivery services.

Furgefutar.hu Szolgaltato Kft., founded in 2010 and headquartered in Budapest, specializes in cross-border delivery and e-commerce, operating a delivery platform for small and medium-sized enterprises and consumers, as well as logistics and fulfillment services.
