An Aberdeen property company is making two local acquisitions

Residential property management and leasing company Grouse Lettings has expanded its portfolio by 295% following two acquisitions.

The Aberdeen-based company has acquired Babs Buglass Leasing and the long-term rental division of PMC Property. The total value of the transaction is six figures.

Babs Buglass, founder and director of her leasing company, will join the Grouse Lettings team.

Following the sale of part of the residential rental business, Neale Bisset, co-chairman, and Simon Hudson, managing director, have left the long-term rental sector to focus on PMC Property’s factoring and short-term rental business.

These agreements will see Grouse Lettings’ portfolio of managed properties increase from 71 to 281. The company will now handle annual rentals of approximately £2.4 million.

Ross Watt, managing director of Grouse Lettings, said: “The addition of Babs brings a wealth of knowledge to our team and we are thrilled to have her on board.

“These acquisitions mark an exciting new chapter for Grouse Lettings as we aim to take the business to the next level through our customer-centric approach.

“We do not rule out further acquisitions in the Aberdeen area.”
