Technique Solaire is expanding in Europe with new photovoltaic projects

Technique Solaire Group, an independent renewable energy producer, is expanding its presence in Europe by acquiring “ready-to-build” projects in the Netherlands and Spain. These new projects add 58 MWp to the group’s pipeline, equivalent to the energy consumption of 60,800 inhabitants and avoiding 13,500 tonnes of CO2 emissions per year.

Netherlands: Purchase and commissioning of new power plants

Technique Solaire has acquired two new “ready-to-build” photovoltaic projects in the province of Gelderland, in Beuninguen and Druten, with a total capacity of 26 MWp. Once operational, the wind farms will produce 26 GWh of electricity per year, covering the energy consumption of 20,000 residents. At the same time, the Group’s first floating solar power plant was put into operation in BillyBird Park Drakenrijk. With a capacity of 7 MWp, it will generate 6.4 GWh per year, equivalent to the electricity consumption of 5,000 people. Technique Solaire, which has been present in the Netherlands since 2018, plans to reach a capacity of 100 MWp by 2030.

Spain: Expansion with new projects and a stronger team

Technique Solaire has completed the acquisition of eight “ready-to-build” photovoltaic projects in Aragon with a total capacity of 32 MWp. Commissioning of these plants is scheduled for early 2025. Spain, with its excellent sunshine, is a key market for Technique Solaire, which has been present there since 2022. To support this development, Ignacio Rebollo has been appointed Country Manager. With over 20 years of experience, he will be responsible for project development and expansion in Spain. These new power plants will produce 63 GWh per year, meeting the needs of 40,800 inhabitants. Technique Solaire, which operates photovoltaic plants with a capacity of over 500 MWp in France, India and the Netherlands, plans to reach 600 MWp of operational capacity in Spain by 2030.
