Grouse Lettings in Aberdeen is expanding its portfolio by 295% through strategic acquisitions

Residential property management and leasing company Grouse Lettings has increased its property portfolio by 295% through two acquisitions.

The Aberdeen-based company took over Babs Buglass Leasing and the long-term rental part of PMC Property. The total value of the transaction is six figures.

Babs Buglass, founder and director of her leasing company, will join the Grouse Lettings team. After the sale of the part of the enterprise dealing with apartment rentals, Neale Bissetco-chairman i Simon Hudsonmanaging director, left the long-term rental sector to focus on the factoring and short-term rental department of PMC Property.



With these transactions, Grouse Lettings’ portfolio of managed properties will increase from 71 to 281, an increase of 295%. Grouse Lettings will now process annual rents of £2.4 million.

We do not rule out further acquisitions in the Aberdeen area.”

Grouse Lettings has a portal for landlords where they are kept informed and updated. It also offers virtual tours of residential properties, as well as evening and weekend viewings. Watt, who has almost 20 years of senior-level experience in the property management and lettings sector, founded Grouse Lettings in 2020 as a part-time venture. Earlier this year he resigned as shareholder and commercial director at Newton Property Management to focus on Grouse Lettings.

Grouse Lettings has an office on Queen’s Terrace, while the lettings business of Oldmeldrum-based PMC Property and Babs Buglass Leasing in Westhill will now be managed from their West End locations. Grouse Lettings manages residential properties for rent in Aberdeen, Aberdeenshire and Angus.
