The combination of AGR and Ross Offshore will further strengthen the group’s center of technical excellence in drilling, reservoirs and marine and research management.

“Joining forces with Ross Offshore allows us to expand our technical offering in drilling project management, well engineering and subsurface and asset evaluation, and further enhance our capabilities to support offshore operations and rig management around the world,” says Svein Sollund, general director of AGR.

AGR is a specialist well engineering, drilling project management, technical safety, decommissioning, underground services and asset assessment consultancy offering software and resource solutions for hydrocarbon and low carbon projects. It also provides expertise in energy transition technologies, carbon capture, transport and storage (CCS) and geothermal energy.

In addition to its well and tank offering, Ross Offshore provides offshore mobilization, HSEQ consultancy and contracting and logistics support – complementing ABL Group’s growing portfolio of services to help deliver sustainability across energy and marine operations.

Based in Stavanger, Norway, Ross Offshore employs over 220 experts working on its clients’ projects. As a result of merging with AGR into one team, the unified team consists of over 500 knowledgeable specialists working on behalf of the client base.

In the future, Ross Offshore will operate under the AGR brand.
