NEW DELHI: Power shares fell during Wednesday’s session.

Jyoti Structures Ltd. (up 4.98%), Gujarat Industries Power Company Ltd. (up 4.48%), India Power Corporation Ltd. (up 2.04%), Neueon Towers Ltd. (up 0 .41%), NLC India Ltd. (up 0.34%), Hitachi Energy India Ltd. (up 0.22%) and Karma Energy Ltd. (up 0.13%) were among the largest profits.

RattanIndia Power Ltd. (down 4.75%), KEC International Ltd. (down 4.21%), Inox Wind Ltd. (down 3.60%), GE Power India Ltd. (down 3.31 %), Indowind Energy Ltd. (down 2.51%), Suzlon Energy Ltd. (down 2.13%), Tata Power Company Ltd. (down 2.07%), Jaiprakash Power Ventures Ltd. (down by 2.07%), Indo Tech Transformers Ltd. (down 2.03%) and Power and Instrumentation (Gujarat) Ltd. (down 2.02%) were among the biggest losers of the day.

The NSE Nifty50 index ended the session down 41.91 points at 23,516.0, while the 30-share BSE Sensex ended down 36.45 points at 77,337.59.

HDFC Bank Ltd. (up 3.12%), Axis Bank Ltd. (up 2.92%), ICICI Bank Ltd. (up 1.93%), Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd. (up 1.59 %), IndusInd Bank Ltd. (up 1.35%), State Bank of India (up 0.92%), Infosys Ltd. (up 0.88%), Wipro Ltd. (up 0.8 %), Tech Mahindra Ltd. (up 0.72%) and HCL Technologies Ltd. (up 0.61%) top performers in the Nifty pack. In turn, Titan Company Ltd. (down by 3.53%), Larsen & Toubro Ltd. (down by 2.7%), Maruti Suzuki India Ltd. (down by 2.54%), Bharti Airtel Ltd. (down by 2.53%), Hindalco Industries Ltd. (down 2.41%), Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd. (down 2.4%), Bajaj Auto Ltd. (down 2.35%), Coal India Ltd . (down 2.27%), NTPC Ltd. (down 1.94%) and Tata Consumer Products Ltd. (down 1.9%) ended the session in the red.
