HYBRID Software presents PACKZ 10

Ghent, Belgium: HYBRID Software, creator of innovative productivity tools for label and packaging printing, announces the release of PACKZ 10, the latest version of its popular all-in-one PDF editor. PACKZ 10, a pre-press application for both digital and conventional printing, offers breakthrough features including seamless integration with EngView CAD software, advanced 3D viewing capabilities for metal can printing, and improved low-volume management functionality. STEPZ 10 offers the same features in a smaller, digital-only product.

EngView connectivity
PACKZ 10 offers deep connectivity to EngView Packaging Suite CAD software, providing solid support for existing EngView users and a modern, user-friendly CAD alternative to foldable packaging printers. This collaboration expands the wide range of editing and automation tools in PACKZ 10, representing a significant advancement in folding carton packaging production.

Capture 3D technology
Thanks to advances in HYBRID software’s 3D Capture technology, PACKZ 10 delivers the highest quality and detailed printing on metal cans. The software now offers precise deformation meshes and live 3D previews, opening up new possibilities for branding and packaging metal cans. This innovation is a continuation of the groundbreaking shrink sleeve technology introduced to the market earlier this year.

Packzimizer improvements
Packzimizer, HYBRID Software’s auto layout and repeat technology for digital roll label printers and offset printers, includes new features to manage short print runs and smaller print runs. Packzimizer intelligently analyzes order data to optimize roll label layout and repeats based on quantity, offering maximum substrate utilization and machine uptime.
