Parra x Vans half-cab | Release date and price

European streetwear brand Parra teams up with quintessential California skateboarding brand Vans to create a limited-edition Half Cab in celebration of Go Skateboarding Day 2024. The classic silhouette is getting a makeover, reflecting the spirit of not only Go Skateboarding Day, but also the Fête de la Musique coinciding with it, Parisian music festival, which will take place on June 21.

Inspired by the French flag, the upper features a bold three-color pattern, a nod to both national identity and the unifying spirit of skateboarding. However, Parra’s signature touch lies in the playfully distorted edges, a design element that harkens back to their recent collaboration with Nike. The new photos from @mvncnt refer to the whimsical bird graphic that adorns the tongue and side branding, referencing Parry’s signature features.

There are rumors that the packaging will feature a special edition box decorated with abstract Vans typography and wavy lines, a perfect complement to Parra’s artistic sensibilities.

While an official release date has not been revealed, the Parra x Vans Half Cab’s clear tie-in to a June 21 date suggests its imminent arrival. Stay tuned for further information!
