Sony’s Spatial Reality Display boosts productivity with Echo3D CMS

Sony announced that Spatial Reality Display models, which enable viewing content in 3D without the need to use a headset or special glasses, will be integrated with Echo3D applications.

Using the Echo3D cloud, 3D assets, including models, can be remotely imported to Spatial Reality Display for content creation and visualization.

The capabilities of a 3D warehouse allow you to store and manage resources from anywhere that can be edited. 3D asset delivery enables 3D streaming and delivery to devices in real time.

eEcho3D Asset Manager provides multiple SDKs and APIs for integration with Unity, Unreal, Blender, ARCore, ARKit, Nvidia Omniverse, Swift, Snapdragon Spaces, Niantic Lightship, 8th Wall, NodeJS, React, Java, Python and more, enabling users Ability to deploy 3D content anywhere, directly from your cloud-based 3D digital asset management solution.

Sony Electronics says its Spatial Reality Displays for glasses-free 3D visualization, including the ELF-SR2 (27-inch) and ELF-SR1 (15.6-inch), become even more “efficient and user-friendly” thanks to integration with monitors Echo3D 3D digital asset management platform.

Thanks to the company’s Spatial Reality Display App Select website, which offers a range of compatible apps and information designed for a variety of usage scenarios, Spatial Reality Display users can now leverage Echo3D technology to securely manage, store, control, optimize and share 3D content.

Using Echo3D, Spatial Reality Display users can also convert and compress 3D files and automatically optimize their performance using standard Draco compression or Echo3D’s own Ultimate Compression to dramatically reduce file size. With a built-in 3D backend, 3D content can be easily updated and analyzed.

Sony says this new integration is built on Spatial Reality Display’s open architecture, which ensures compatibility with industry leaders via apps, plug-ins and software development kits (SDKs), helping creators take full advantage of the display’s capabilities and how it can be used in conjunction with their preferred tools .
