North Carolina lawmakers are looking at more regulations for vape shops

Vape products in North Carolina may soon be subject to more regulations.

Currently, the Food and Drug Administration regulates products, but has no way of knowing what is being sold.

A bill passed by the North Carolina State House would impose fines on stores selling uncertified products and create a registry of violating stores.

Violations may result in suspension or revocation of the store’s license.

The bill still needs to be submitted to parliament by the end of July.
