Moreover, as a result of a drone attack on the region in the early morning hours, the bus station in Yuzhny and a boiler house in the city of Krasnodar were damaged. At least four people were injured by falling drone debris.

Emergency services writing on the Telegram messaging app said three municipalities were attacked. Fragments of one drone fell on a guesthouse in the Temriuk district, but its residents were evacuated and did not suffer any injuries.

Ukraine plans photovoltaic expansion to stabilize energy security

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky plans to develop the construction of photovoltaic systems in the country. The goal is to stabilize the energy grid, which has been severely affected by Russian attacks.

“The government has been tasked to immediately present a program to encourage the installation of solar energy generation and energy storage systems in Ukraine,” Zelensky said in his evening video address on Thursday.

According to the plan, citizens who install photovoltaic panels will be able to receive an interest-free loan.

Zelensky also said that steps have been taken to protect energy facilities from ongoing Russian attacks and specific deadlines have been set for the completion of protective facilities.

The President of Ukraine has committed to building more decentralized energy facilities to provide administrative and critical infrastructure buildings with an alternative energy source in the event of power outages.

According to official data, about half of Ukraine’s production capacity was lost as a result of systematic Russian drone and missile attacks on Ukrainian energy facilities.
