Handset maker Realme on Thursday, June 20, launched the GT 6 in both the Indian and global markets. This latest addition to the Realme GT series is equipped with the top-end Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC and offers advanced artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities similar to those found in the Samsung Galaxy S24 line and Google Pixel devices. Realme GT 6 is the company’s first model with pre-installed Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) features.

Realme GT 6 is available at a competitive price – the base model with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage starts at Rs 40,999, while the top-end variant with 16GB RAM and 512GB storage starts at Rs 44,999.

Realme GT 6 launch offers

Pre-sale of the device starts today, June 20, and lasts until June 24. Prospective buyers who pre-book can get benefits worth six months of screen damage protection, banking offers, exchange discounts up to Rs 1,000 and flexible no-cost EMI options.

Realme GT 6 specifications and features

Realme GT 6 boasts an AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution and a triple rear camera system, dominated by a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-808 main sensor. Additionally, it is equipped with a 5,500 mAh battery that supports patented 120 W SuperVOOC fast charging.

In terms of imaging, the Realme GT 6 comes with a triple rear camera setup that includes a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-808 sensor with f/1.69 aperture and optical image stabilization (OIS). The camera setup also includes a 50-megapixel Samsung JN5 telephoto camera and an 8-megapixel Sony IMX355 ultra-wide-angle camera. For selfies and video calls, the phone offers a 32-megapixel front camera with an f/2.45 aperture.

The display boasts a brightness of up to 6,000 nits and a touch sampling rate of 360 Hz. This new device is powered by a 4nm octa-core Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor, paired with up to 16GB RAM and up to 512GB storage. It also features a 10,014 mm² 3D hardened dual VC system for improved cooling performance. The device has a 6.78-inch Full HD+ (1264×2780 pixels) 8T LTPO AMOLED display, offering a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz, support for HDR10+ and Dolby Vision.

Realme GT 6 supports dual Nano SIM cards and runs Android 14 with Realme UI 5.

Realme GT 6 offers advanced AI features such as AI Night Vision Mode and Smart Delete that enhance photo editing and user interaction. In terms of connectivity options, the device offers Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, NFC, and Wi-Fi 6.
