Angus Xie is a partner in the corporate and compliance department at Han Kun Law Firms. He has extensive compliance experience and has assisted many leading international and Chinese companies with data security, merger filings, national security review, government investigations, and establishing and improving their overarching compliance systems.

Xie has extensive experience in helping clients with complex and complex cross-border compliance issues, leveraging his compliance experience across a variety of sectors and jurisdictions. He has represented many well-known multinational companies in resolving highly complex and difficult compliance issues in China, and has also assisted many leading Chinese companies with compliance issues in other major jurisdictions around the world, including the EU, US, Australia, Germany, Israel, Argentina and Brazil. Before joining Han Kun, Xie worked at several leading domestic and international law firms in China.

Xie is also a guest lecturer at the Advanced Program on International Legal Services at Peking University, supervisor of the Master of Laws at the University of International Business and Economics, and a member of the steering group of the International Committee of Corporate Counsel for the American Bar Association.
