Marina del Pilar promotes actions to improve regulation and competitiveness in Baja California

Baja California Governor Marina del Pilar Ávila Olmeda continues to intensify the implementation of actions to improve public administration, promoting good practices through training on improved regulation, digital transformation and economic competitiveness. This is aimed at further strengthening the services provided to the people since the beginning of her administration.

In this regard, it announced that Baja California will host the “National Forum on Regulatory Improvement, Digital Transformation and Competitiveness”, an internationally renowned event at home and abroad, which will take place on June 24 and 25 at the Real Inn hotel in the city. from Tijuana.

Director of the Digital Agency of Baja California, Gabriel Palombo, noted that this forum will be addressed to public sector employees, scientists and representatives of the social and business sectors, and its goal is to create a space for dialogue and exchange of ideas.

He said the event, hosted by the state government through the Economy and Innovation Secretariat and the Digital Agency, aims to socialize and train participants on good government practices, with a focus on citizen participation. Collaboration and exchange of learning will be essential to making progress on key issues, Director Palombo said.

The forum will be attended by renowned national and international experts, including the Coordinator of the OECD Program on Regulatory Policy for Latin America, Manuel Gerardo Flores; National Commissioner for the Improvement of Regulation of the Government of Mexico, Alberto Montoya Martín del Campo; and César Córdova, director of International Jacobs Firm, Córdova & Asociados.

In addition, there will be workshops and conferences led by leading companies on technological innovation and cybersecurity, such as Amazon Web Services, CISCO, Google and Huawei. These companies, pioneers in their fields, will share their knowledge and experiences on how technology can improve government services and strengthen information security. Their participation will significantly enrich the forum and offer practical and advanced perspectives in the area of ​​digital transformation.
