Panchkula Metropolitan Development Authority (PMDA) has issued a tender for ₹25 crore project.

This was shared during a meeting chaired by Haryana Assembly Speaker and local MLA Gian Chand Gupta regarding development works being carried out in Panchkula.

PMDA director general KM Pandurang said that the authority has also invited tender for construction of an office complex in Sector 3. The tender will be opened on July 1.

Officials further informed that 54 roads in the city will be repaired at a cost of approx ₹41.87 crores. While the PMDA has already completed the carpeting of two roads, work is in progress on the remaining roads.

The authorities will also soon launch a shooting range on 13.75 acres in Sector 32.

Moreover, it is working on constructing a second lane from the garbage dump to NH-7. The site for the investment is being identified.

The construction of sewage treatment plants (STPs) for tertiary water supply in the Mansa Devi Complex, Sectors 1 to 21, Phases 1 and 2 of the Industrial Area and the extended sectors of the city were also discussed.
