Watch Glastonbury 2024 on TV as the BBC releases broadcast details – including a 24-hour channel

Those who missed out on Glastonbury tickets can still watch their favorite shows from the comfort of their own home. The popular festival returns to the fields of Worthy Farm in Somerset later this month.

Confirmed acts include Dua Lipa, Coldplay and Shania Twain. The official coverage of the festival will be broadcast by the BBC and from now until Sunday, June 30, there will be plenty of attractions that will please music fans.




BBC programs will be available on iPlayer, BBC Sounds, TV, radio and online, including the continuous Classic Glastonbury channel, which broadcasts 24 hours a day. This channel will feature highlights from some of Glastonbury’s most iconic performances, including last year’s final performance by Elton John.

The BBC will also be offering a dedicated Glastonbury channel on iPlayer from midday on Friday (June 28) until Sunday evening, offering a continuous stream of live events, interviews and exclusive behind-the-scenes content. This year, the BBC launched Glastonbury Channel II, a special edition of the festival showcasing the most popular acts of the day.

The broadcaster will also regularly broadcast live from five main stages – the Pyramid Stage, Other Stage, Park Stage, West Holts and Woodsies. Performances on the Pyramid stage will also be broadcast in British Sign Language throughout the weekend.

Ahead of the festival itself, The One Show helps kick off Glastonbury weekend on BBC One on Friday 28 June (7pm), with special Glastonbury celebrations through the years and links live to the 2024 event. After a weekend of appearances on BBC TV channels, BBC Two looks back at the best of Glastonbury 2024 in a highlights programme.
