The Transcend 2024 conference inspires women to new heights

The Transcend 2024 conference, hosted by Olamma Cares Foundation and Home Advantage Africa Women (HAA Women), was a historic moment as it brought together over 200 women in Ibadan to celebrate International Women’s Day on March 8, 2024. The transformative experience was designed to nurture the mind, body and soul to inspire personal and professional development.

The conference, titled “Breaking Barriers, Rising Peaks,” featured engaging panel discussions, a dedicated session on women’s health, and insightful keynotes. Participants delved into discussions on overcoming gender bias, leadership development, work-life balance, negotiation, entrepreneurship and innovation.

The event also included activities to promote overall well-being, including a mindfulness session, self-defense training and available mental health counseling. The focus on mental health underscored a commitment to holistic empowerment.

Participants gained knowledge and had the opportunity to network, collaborate and enjoy various activities. The conference strengthened contacts between different women, creating a supportive community.

The impact extended beyond the conference and included post-event offerings such as free social media management training, discounted digital courses, and mental health assessments. These initiatives aim to further support women in their personal and professional development.
