“To this end, we will invest a total of EUR 40 billion in the energy transition by 2030, which is approximately one third of our total investments alone in the construction of wind farms and photovoltaic parks, as well as flexibly controlled hydrogen-ready gas power plants. “

The utility plans to enter into power purchase agreements (PPAs) with industrial customers to sell electricity generated by the new offshore wind farm.

TotalEnergys, through its shares in Offshore Wind One, has secured the N-11.2 offshore license with an area of 156 km² and a capacity of 1.5 GW.

Offshore Wind One GmbH will make a payment to the German federal government by June 2025 in the amount of EUR 196 million.

The payment is intended to protect the seas and promote environmentally friendly fishing practices.

The electricity transmission system operator responsible for connecting the project will be paid an annual fee of EUR 88 million, payable for 20 years after the facility is put into operation.

The granted concession will be granted for a period of 25 years, with the possibility of extension to 35 years.
