No for fireworks, but yes for camping

NORTH DAKOTA (KXNET) — The North Dakota Department of Game and Fish would like to remind outdoor enthusiasts that the possession and use of fireworks on state Wildlife Management Areas (WMAs) is prohibited.

According to a press release, the WMA’s primary goals are to increase wildlife production, provide hunting and fishing opportunities, and offer recreational and educational uses. Activities that would not interfere with these intentions are permitted, and fireworks are not one of them.

There is some good news, however: NDGF will lift the camping ban Tuesday through Wednesday during the July 4th holiday week, allowing overnight camping on July 2 and 3.

You can find a list of WMA regulations here.
