New Delhi (India), September 10 (ANI): The first meeting of a committee constituted by Congress interim president Sonia Gandhi will be held on September 14 in the national capital to discuss and strategize campaign moves to be undertaken by the party opposing the central government’s policies.

According to sources, the meeting will be chaired by party leader Digvijay Singh.

Priyanka Gandhi Vadra is also a member of the committee.

Earlier, several Congress leaders had slammed the NDA-led government at the Center over the National Monetization Pipeline (NMP).

Taking a dig at the Center over its proposed National Monetization Pipeline (NMP), Congress leader Rahul Gandhi accused the Central government of “putting India up for sale”.

“The first thing they sold was respect and now #IndiaOnSale,” the Congress leader tweeted.

“A monetization pipeline for selling projects or assets built by the Congress between 1947 and 2014,” Digvijaya Singh said, criticizing the Center for its policies.

The party also constituted a seven-member committee to look into matters related to the caste census. (OR)
