iPadOS 18 beta 2 now available to developers

With the release of iPadOS 18 beta 2, developers can try out features that will be available to iPad users later this fall. While we expected many exclusive features for the iPad M4 Pro, it seems that Apple wants to expand the changes to as many iPad users as possible.

It’s unclear at this point what’s changed in iPadOS 18 beta 2. Still, we hope Apple continues to improve usability and fix bugs.

iPadOS 18 introduces several new features, including the all-new Calculator app. It looks similar to what you’d expect from Apple’s Calculator app. However, it brings something completely new Math notes a feature that allows users to type or write down math expressions and instantly check their solution in handwriting.

With the help of Apple Pencil Smart script makes handwritten notes smoother and easier to read. Smart Script enables users to write quickly without losing readability by smoothing and straightening handwritten text in real time. It makes editing handwritten text as easy as editing typewritten text. With Apple Pencil, users can easily add spaces, delete sentences, and even paste typed text in their own handwriting, and the paragraph will automatically adapt to the new content.

In addition to these changes, iPadOS 18 beta also takes personalization to a new level. Now applications can be organized in any waywhich means they can be placed anywhere. App icons and widgets can take on a new look thanks to dark or dim effectand users can do it Apps seem bigger to create the perfect experience.

Additionally, Apple has released new features that allow users block and hide apps. When an app is locked or hidden, content such as messages and emails in the app is hidden from searches, notifications, and other places on your system. Users can only unlock it using Face ID and Touch ID. BGR teaches you how to hide and block iPad apps in iPadOS 18.

In addition to iPadOS 18 beta 2, Apple has also released second test versions of iOS 18, macOS Sequoia, tvOS 18, watchOS 11 and VisionOS 2.
