NEW DELHI: Power stocks were trading higher at 10:29 am on Monday

Indowind Energy Ltd. (up 8.28%), Neueon Towers Ltd. (up 4.82%), Suzlon Energy Ltd. (up 4.38%), Jaiprakash Power Ventures Ltd. (up 4.02 %), Jyoti Structures Ltd. (up 4.00%), Hitachi Energy India Ltd. (up 3.52%), Orient Green Power Company Ltd. (up 2.50%), Energy Development Company Ltd. (up 1.58%), Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd. (up 1.52%) and GE T&D Among the companies that gained the most was India Ltd. (up 0.82%).

Transformers & Rectifiers(India) Ltd. (down 2.27%), Power and Instrumentation(Gujarat) Ltd. (down 2.01%), Torrent Power Ltd. (down 1.24%), Inox Wind Energy Ltd. (down 1.07%), GE Power India Ltd. (down 1.05%), Indo Tech Transformers Ltd. (down 0.89%), Adani Power Ltd. (down 0.72% ), NHPC Ltd. (down 0.56%), Gujarat Industries Power Company Ltd. (down 0.54%) ) and SJVN Ltd. (down 0.40%) were among the top losers.

The NSE Nifty50 index fell 60.9 points to 23,440.2, while the 30-share BSE Sensex fell 175.15 points to 77,034.75 at around 10:29 am.

Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. (up 1.86%), Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd. (up 1.65%), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (up 1.46%), Nestle India Ltd. (up by 0.96%), Tata Consultancy Services Ltd. (up by 0.9%), Bajaj Auto Ltd. (up by 0.84%), Grasim Industries Ltd. (up by 0.57%), ITC Ltd. (up 0.55%), Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Ltd. (up 0.47%) and ICICI Bank Ltd. (up 0.42%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack. Meanwhile, IndusInd Bank Ltd. (down 2.73%), Cipla Ltd. (down 1.89%), Tata Steel Ltd. (down 1.81%), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd. (down by 1.64%), Coal India Ltd. (down by 1.2%), Bajaj Finance Ltd. (down by 1.14%), Reliance Industries Ltd. (down by 1.0%), SBI Life Insurance Company Ltd. (down 0.99%), State Bank of India (down 0.9%) and JSW Steel Ltd. (down 0.85%) were trading in the red.
