The government promises to speed up the issuance of permits for international events under online licensing – Regulations

The government has promised that organizers will have greater certainty about permits for international and domestic events held in the country, as it relies on a newly launched online system that will standardize licensing.

Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan, coordinating minister for maritime affairs and investment, said the system would ensure organizers receive licenses 21 days before the date of any international events. For national events this would be 14 days in advance.

“There will be no permits issued the day before the event or even a few hours in advance,” Luhut said at Monday’s launch, as quoted by Detik.
