Scott Williams named chief development and brand officer at Main Street Hospitality





Main Street Hospitality has announced the appointment of Executive Director, with the promotion of Scott Williams to Chief Development and Brand Officer. Scott will continue to work closely with Founder and CEO Sarah Eustis and the rest of the executive team, focusing on the strategic growth and evolution of the brand. He will be responsible for leading enterprise-wide brand architecture and positioning, development, marketing and communications initiatives, and experience design for the independent hospitality group and its portfolio of storied properties across the Northeast.

Scott joined Main Street Hospitality in 2021 and has successfully transformed and strengthened its brand identity and market position during his tenure. His leadership skills and innovative tactics have pioneered strategic marketing partnerships and programs that have elevated each hotel in the Main Street portfolio and significantly expanded the hotel brand. As Chief Development and Brand Officer, Scott will continue to implement strategies that support the brand’s growth while reinforcing its purpose of creating places for people to connect in meaningful ways.

He will deliver on the company’s goal of delivering exceptional experiences by taking an authentic approach to hospitality that focuses on integrating the local communities surrounding the hotels and like-minded brands and individuals.

Throughout his distinguished career, Scott has driven growth in both the hospitality and media sectors. Williams was president of The Nantucket Project and also led marketing and creative initiatives for renowned global brands including Commune Hotels & Resorts, Morgans Hotel Group and Starwood Hotels & Resorts.

Before entering the hospitality industry, Williams worked in television, working as a creative and producer at CBS, ESPN and HBO. He is currently an active member of the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences and serves on the Harvard Club New York Program Committee and the Independent Lodging Congress (ILC) Advisory Board.
