Shopify has expanded access to its AI-powered tools, including Sidekick Assistant and image generation, to more users. Customers can now use the image editing tool on their smartphones to enhance images used in promotional materials. This feature was previously limited to online product photos.

The company also expanded access to Sidekick, its chatbot designed to help sellers with a variety of queries, including insights into customer behavior. Shopify has embedded AI into its platform, including AI-generated responses in Shopify Inbox and improvements to its AI image editor. The company’s AI tool, Shopify Magic, can now provide sellers with new product recommendations across all their product categories.
