Streaming games to iOS devices is nothing new. Gamers have been doing this for years with mobile browsing, and they know how frustrating and difficult it can be. Apple announced in January that it was finally allowing third-party streaming apps in the App Store, but Antstream is the first to officially launch.

Antstream has been available on Android, Xbox and PC for some time now, allowing gamers to re-experience classic games from now-defunct consoles such as the Atari 7800, NES and MSX. Since it is a streaming service, players do not have to worry about downloading files, unlike emulators. Coincidentally, emulators were recently allowed back into the App Store.

Like any other streaming service, it comes with a price. According to Possibility of mashing, there’s a limited-time discount when you launch the app in the App Store: $3.99 per month or $29.99 per year. That’s a pretty good deal considering the many classic titles it has. It currently has 1,333 games and, according to its website, adds two more every week.
