With over 25 years of experience in the multifamily industry and extensive experience in property management, asset management and investment management, Chris will lead the company’s multifamily acquisition strategy and lead ODA’s expansion into new markets, including the establishment of an ODA office in Phoenix.

One Degree Acquisitions (“ODA”), a commercial real estate investment firm focused on acquiring and managing a diversified portfolio of core plus, value-add and opportunistic assets, is pleased to announce the appointment of Christopher Westcott as Managing Director, Managing Director acquisitions officer, who will lead the new office in Phoenix, Arizona.

“Chris’ demonstrated leadership skills, combined with his extensive experience in both real estate management and acquisition, make him the ideal candidate to lead our acquisitions team,” said Stephen Henry, president and founder of ODA. “We expect his contributions will accelerate our expansion into the East and throughout the Southwest with our newly established office in Phoenix.”

The newly established Phoenix office is a focal point for ODA as it looks to replicate the company’s success in this market and provide it with greater proximity to further growth in the Southwest and expansion into the growing markets of Texas.

Prior to joining ODA, Chris was most recently Senior Vice President of Originations at Parse Capital. He previously held key roles at The Wolff Company, Black Creek/Ares, Jackson Square Properties and Friedkin Realty Group, overseeing acquisitions and divestitures totaling over $2.5 billion. Demonstrated experience in acquiring, negotiating, executing and managing multifamily assets in various markets, as well as leading initiatives in new markets.
