Kenneth Sheehan, Esq. Appointed Co-Chair of the NJSBA Renewable Energy, Clean Technology, and Climate Change Committee for 2024-2025

Genova Burns LLC is proud to announce that Kenneth Sheehan, Esq. was named co-chair of the New Jersey State Bar Association’s (NJSBA) Committee on Renewable Energy, Clean Technologies and Climate Change for the 2024-2025 term. This appointment reflects Mr. Sheehan’s extensive experience and commitment to advancing renewable energy and environmental law.

The NJSBA recognizes the critical role its committees play in promoting the legal profession, the interests of the Bar and the public. In his new position, Mr. Sheehan will co-lead efforts to promote the development and implementation of policies and practices that support renewable energy, clean technology innovation and climate change mitigation.

Kenneth Sheehan, Esq. has built his career in energy law, with a particular focus on renewable energy and environmental sustainability. With over two decades of experience, he has advised public and private clients on a wide range of issues, including regulatory compliance, project development and financing of renewable energy projects. His expertise includes solar, wind, hydroelectric and other clean energy technologies.

Prior to joining Genova Burns LLC, Mr. Sheehan held various senior positions where he was responsible for shaping energy policies and regulations. His experience includes serving as general counsel and director of the Office of Clean Energy for the New Jersey Public Utilities Board. His work has been instrumental in New Jersey’s transition to a more sustainable energy landscape.
