How startups improve e-commerce returns

Canadian startup ReturnBear is eyeing the e-commerce space in the UK and will launch its brand here from July 1. They leverage e-commerce and logistics technologies to streamline the returns process for retailers and customers. The process of cross-border returns from the US and Canada to the UK will now be easier.

Sylvia Ng, CEO of ReturnBear, commented: “Sellers can easily sell in a hundred countries overnight using global sales platforms. However, there is no easy way to recover the funds. Our expansion into the UK market is part of our vision to be the first global, end-to-end, same-day returns platform.”

Better returns processes for an even better customer experience

Returns are a big problem in e-commerce. This process can either make or break the entire customer experience and journey, depending on how quickly it is carried out. Enter ReturnBear, which offers a truly seamless process through a network of parcel-free and label-free drop-off locations that enable instant refunds.

“Consumers look for returns before they make a purchase, and retailers need to meet consumer expectations to thrive in local markets. ReturnBear provides a simple way to do that.” What started with just two pilot locations in Toronto now has more than 1,000 service locations across Canada and the U.S.

Meghan Victoria, founder and CEO of Sol Kyst, one of the companies that will partner with ReturnBear in the UK, spoke about the partnership: “The global response to our brand and products has been phenomenal.

“As an inclusive brand that offers products in multiple sizes, creating an easy exchange and returns process remains a top priority for us. We’re really looking forward to enhancing our returns offer for our UK customers with ReturnBear, knowing that this will enhance positive experiences for both our customers and our business.
