Consumer recognition and communication in sectors that are green today

Looking at US equity sectors, only two sectors were in the green, namely Consumer Discretions (+1.45%) and Communication Services (+0.01%), where the indicator was broadly stable.

Other sectors came under pressure, with energy (-0.98%) and finance (-0.63%) having the greatest impact.

It is worth noting that despite the volatile price action, year-to-date performance is still green for all sectors except real estate.
