Trans Care Bias Suit Ends with New Order, Court Says

Two Christian physician groups cannot again challenge a federal policy intended to address health care discrimination against LGBTQ+ patients that allegedly violated the religious rights of its members because the policy is no longer in effect, the Sixth Circuit said Thursday.

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit dismissed an appeal by the American College of Pediatricians and the Catholic Medical Association of a lower court’s dismissal of their lawsuit over the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services’ transgender mandate.
