Honeywell earnings, higher revenues in the fourth quarter

Investing.com – Honeywell (NYSE:HON) on Friday reported fourth-quarter results that beat analysts’ expectations, as well as revenue that topped forecasts.

The company reported earnings per share of $1.91 on revenue of $9.73 billion. Analysts surveyed by Investing.com had expected earnings per share of $1.89 on revenue of $9.7 billion. That compared to earnings per share of $1.85 on revenue of $10.84 billion in the same period a year earlier. The company reported earnings per share of $2.03 on revenue of $10.76 billion in the previous quarter.

Honeywell is tracking performance across other major capital goods sectors this month

Boeing on Wednesday reported fourth-quarter earnings per share of $5.48 on revenue of $28.34 billion, compared with forecasts for earnings per share of $4.57 on revenue of $26.88 billion.

On Tuesday, three-month earnings beat analysts’ expectations, with fourth-quarter EPS coming in at $2.31 on revenue of $7.95 billion. Investing.com analysts were expecting EPS of $2.28 on revenue of $7.87 billion.
