Latham advises Citicore Renewable Energy on IPO

Latham & Watkins advised Citicore Renewable Energy Corporation (CREC) on its initial public offering on the main board of the Philippine Stock Exchange (PSE). The offering consists of 1.78 billion common shares with an over-allotment option of 10% up to 178 million secondary common shares at ₱2.70 per share. The capital raised will be used primarily to develop solar power plants.

The Latham team was led by Hong Kong partner Benjamin Carale, with partner Diana Dizon and Singapore-based foreign legal counsel Margarita del Rosario. Investment fund advice was also provided by Boston attorney Joel Cavanaugh; and tax advice was provided by New York partner Elena Romanova, with partner Jung Hyun Park* and Boston partner Tessa Young.
