Foreign journalists visited the e-commerce business incubator in Aksu City

XINJIANG – Several journalists from some Asian, European and African countries visited an e-commerce business incubator base in Aksu city, northwest China’s Xinjiang Province.

The visit here was part of a week-long trip to Xinjiang organized by the China International Press Communication Center (CIPCC) and sponsored by the China Global Television Network (CGTN) under a program called “China Up Close” initiated by CGTN.

The aforementioned E-Commerce business incubator base includes a 15,000 m2 e-commerce building and a 43,000 m2 sorting centre, both launched in 2019.

The database offers companies a comprehensive package of six preferential policies: three years of rent-free lease, exemption from water and electricity charges, free live broadcasting services to promote products, no product standardization fees, access to logistics subsidies and minimized logistics costs.

As already mentioned, the visit to Xinjiang was organized by the China International Press Communications Center (CIPCC).

CIPCC, operating under the China Public Diplomacy Association (CPDA), initiated a program to build a platform for media from around the world, especially from developing countries, to observe China and study its development.

In each edition of the program, journalists from around the world meet to learn about contemporary China and exchange experiences in the field of journalism.

The 2024 edition of the program, which started at the end of February, is attended by over 100 journalists from over 90 countries.
