Spain may recruit workers from Uzbekistan for its construction sector

The president of the Spanish National Confederation of the Construction Industry announced that the country plans to employ 700,000 workers in the construction of 200,000 state-owned real estate facilities.

Ambassador of Uzbekistan Farrukh Tursunov held negotiations with the president of the Spanish National Confederation of the Construction Industry, Pedro Fernández Alén.

According to the Dunyo news agency, the talks focused on establishing cooperation in the field of labor migration between Uzbekistan and Spain, as well as on the possibilities of recruiting Uzbek citizens to work in the Spanish construction sector.

Pedro Fernández Alén stated that providing Uzbek citizens with all the opportunities to work abroad in a safe and orderly manner is considered one of the positive indicators of developing countries.

The President of the National Confederation of the Construction Industry revealed that there are significant plans for the construction sector in Spain, in particular for the construction of 200,000 state-owned real estate facilities, which are expected to employ 700,000 workers.

As a result of the negotiations, an agreement was reached on cooperation in this direction.
