Spy devices destroyed, military equipment damaged in Hezbollah attacks

Lebanese resistance fighters Hezbollah carried out two separate operations against spy equipment and military equipment deployed at Israeli outposts near the border between the Arab country and the territories occupied since 1948.

Lebanon’s Arabic-language al-Mayadeen TV news channel reported that militants carried out an operation against the Misgav Am base in the Upper Galilee region on Saturday afternoon and fired a salvo of artillery shells at the site.

The target of the attack was monitoring devices at the military facility, which were subsequently destroyed.

The group said the operation was carried out in solidarity with the steadfast Palestinians in the Gaza Strip and in support of the valiant and honorable resistance fighters facing the Israeli attack.

Hezbollah fighters also attacked a Merkava battle tank and a Namer heavy armored personnel carrier at the Ruwaisat al-Alam base in the Kafr Shuba heights with guided missiles, destroying them.

Mikati: Israeli threats are psychological warfare

Meanwhile, Lebanese Prime Minister Najib Mikati has called Israel’s threats to start a war with an Arab state “psychological warfare.”

“In all difficult moments, we repeat that the army is the most important defender and guardian of the nation,” Mikati said.

“The threats we are witnessing are a form of psychological warfare, and everyone is wondering whether there will be a war. Yes, we are at war and there are many civilian and non-civilian martyrs and many villages destroyed as a result of Israeli aggression,” the Prime Minister added.

Hezbollah carries out almost daily rocket attacks on Israeli positions in retaliation for the regime’s aggression against Lebanon and as a gesture of solidarity with the Palestinians.

Since early October, at least 37,834 Palestinians, mostly women and children, have been killed in the genocidal campaign in Gaza.

According to data prepared by Reuters, at least 480 people were killed on the border with Lebanon, including 93 civilians. AFP.

Two Israeli wars against Lebanon in 2000 and 2006 were met with heavy resistance from Hezbollah, leading to the regime’s withdrawal in both conflicts.
