Eid Al Adha 2020: Dubai Announces Public Sector Holiday – News

Dubai Government’s Human Resources Department has announced a four-day holiday for Eid Al Adha and Arafat for the public sector.
Authorities said the outage will last from Thursday, July 30, to Sunday, August 2, and work will resume on August 3.

The Department congratulated the President, His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy the Supreme Commander of the United Arab Emirates Armed Forces, as well as the people of the United Arab Emirates on this occasion.
Last year, the UAE government announced that both the public and private sectors would have the same number of public holidays.
