“Our teams have been working tirelessly to drain pockets of the city, including low-lying areas. Among the areas that have been cleared of flooding are Sector 77 in Sorkha, Phase 2, which is a low-lying area, Sector 110 market area, Hajipur underpass and Panchsheel underpass, and Mahamaya flyover in Sector 44. Instructions have been issued to ensure that these places do not get flooded again in the coming days. Officials have also been asked to make proper arrangements for pumps and repair damaged drains/sewers in Sectors 148 and 150,” said Lokesh M, CEO, Noida Authority.

“The area was under water for two days due to rain, but the situation has now been brought under control to some extent. Standing water disrupted traffic, but the situation improved and traffic was restored,” said Kushagra Singh, a resident of Sector 95.
