Clean energy solutions company Altilium Green Energy Inc. has been selected as the exclusive distributor of Albion Technologies’ smart energy storage system (BESS) in the Philippines. The partnership is expected to help realize the country’s renewable energy ambitions by introducing cutting-edge energy storage technology.

Smart BESS from Albion Technologies, a UK company, uses artificial intelligence (AI) to optimise the performance of individual battery cells. Traditional BESS solutions often operate at the lowest common denominator, but Smart BESS extracts up to 95% of each battery’s capacity per cycle, exceeding the industry standard of 80%.
