The Ministry of Labour and Social Insurance has issued a new regulation enabling the extension of working hours.

A regulation entitled “Regulation amending the regulation on special procedures and rules of work in postal activities” was published in the Official Journal.

This amendment introduces regulations for workers engaged in petroleum exploration, exploration and drilling.

According to the amendment, working hours at night may now exceed 7.5 hours a day, provided that the employee obtains written consent.

In addition to sectors such as tourism, private security and health services, these regulations now cover activities related to oil research, exploration and drilling.

They allow for a two-shift work system within 24 hours, applicable to subcontractors operating in these positions.
