PM pays tribute to tribal heroes on Hul Diwas

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi spoke today over telephone and congratulated the Indian Men’s Cricket Team for winning the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup. Shri Modi praised the exemplary skills and spirit shown by the team members during the tournament.

Shri Modi wrote in a post on X:

โ€œI spoke to the Indian cricket team and congratulated them on their exemplary success in the T20 World Cup. They showed excellent skill and playing spirit throughout the tournament. The commitment of every player is very motivating.โ€

Shri Modi also penned separate X-posts for Rohit Sharma, team captain; Virat Kohli, senior batsman and Rahul Dravid, team coach, for their sterling performances and unwavering commitment throughout the tournament.
