How to sync Google Chrome on all your devices

To turn on syncing on your Mac or PC, follow the steps below.

  1. Launch Google Chrome.

  2. Click the profile icon in the upper right corner of the screen.

  3. Now click the “Turn on sync” button.

  4. If you’re not signed in to your Google account, you may be asked to enter your credentials. Just enter your email address or phone number and password.

  5. You may be asked to verify your identity. To do so, simply follow the on-screen instructions.

  6. Click Continue.

  7. A dialog box titled “Enable Sync” should appear. Just press the “Yes, I’m in” button at the bottom.

Now, to manage sync, click on the profile icon in the top right corner of the screen again. This time, click on the “Sync is on” button. Now, click on Manage sync in the Sync section. You will now see two toggles – Sync everything and Customize sync.

While the first option is good enough if you want to sync everything you do in your browser, you can choose the latter if you want to prevent things like open tabs, history, extensions, and more from syncing to your device.
